Privacy notice
This notice explains how we handle personal information when you visit our public websites, contact us, book an introductory conversation or preregister interest in the future Supervision Index.
Last updated 27 July 2026
Who we are
Supervision In School Limited is the data controller for the public websites operated under the Supervision Group family of trading names. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15012715. Our registered office is Lumaneri House, Blythe Gate, Blythe Valley Park, Solihull, West Midlands, B90 8AH.
Questions or requests about personal information can be sent to support@supervisioninschool.co.uk.
What this notice covers
It covers visits to this public website, enquiries sent to us and Discovery Chat bookings, as well as consented expressions of interest in the future Supervision Index. Signed-in platform services are governed by the relevant customer agreement, data processing terms and role-specific privacy information.
Information we collect
- Website security and delivery information: limited technical records such as an IP address, browser information, requested page, time and security events may be processed by our hosting provider.
- Enquiries: your name, email address, organisation, role and anything you choose to include when you email us.
- Discovery Chat bookings: the contact and scheduling information you provide on the secure booking page.
- Index expression of interest: if you preregister for the future Supervision Index, we collect your name, email address, organisation and the question or contribution you describe. The form records the exact consent notice you accepted and gives you a non-secret receipt. It does not create an account, research application, partnership or access to Index data.
Please do not send names, case details or other sensitive information about children, families, colleagues or people receiving services through a website enquiry.
Why we use it
- To deliver and secure the website and investigate misuse or technical failures.
- To respond to an enquiry and arrange or follow up a requested conversation.
- With your consent, to review an Index expression of interest and plan the future governed application route.
- To take steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To keep records needed for legal, regulatory or safeguarding responsibilities.
We rely on legitimate interests for website security and ordinary correspondence, pre-contractual steps where you ask about a service, and legal obligations where a record must be retained. Consent is the basis for retaining an Index expression of interest; you can withdraw it while the submission is pending. We do not sell personal information.
Who receives information
Access is limited to authorised Supervision Group personnel and suppliers that provide secure hosting, email, scheduling or professional support. Suppliers act under contractual confidentiality and data-protection duties. We may disclose information where the law requires it or where this is necessary to protect someone from serious harm.
International processing
A supplier may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we use an applicable UK adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards and assess the protection available.
How long we keep it
Security logs are retained only for the limited period needed to operate and protect the service. Enquiry and booking correspondence is kept while we deal with the request and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain an accurate business record. Information connected with a contract, dispute or legal duty may be retained for the relevant statutory or contractual period. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
A pending Index expression of interest is retained for no more than 12 months. If you withdraw it before then, or if that period ends without a decision, the submitted name, email, organisation and free text are redacted. We retain only the minimal receipt, consent and lifecycle evidence needed to show what happened. The confirmation page lets you withdraw while it remains open; after leaving it, contact support@supervisioninschool.co.uk and quote the receipt so we can verify and handle your request.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to be informed, access your information, correct it, ask for deletion or restriction, object to certain uses and receive portable information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
Changes to this notice
We update this page when the public website or its data use changes. The date at the top identifies the current version.
